Technical Account Engineer, Singapore(GovTech)

What you can expect

As a Technical Account Engineer, you will provide dedicated technical support to assigned customers, owning and championing all reported issues. You will analyze problems using log analysis, tools, and troubleshooting methods. You will collaborate with client services, and sales for customer-specific activities or discussions. You will attend emergency war rooms to address high-priority service challenges. You will be stay updated on Zoom products and industry offering.

About the Team

The TAE team plays a crucial role in improving the customer experience within Zoom. The TAE team will support all of the issues for Zoom's Elite customers ranging from Zoom's most technically complex or sensitive support situations along with single user connection problems. This team Isolates and identifies problems and causes that directly affect these customer's usage of Zoom. The Technical Account Engineer will report to the Manager, Technical Account Services APAC.

What we’re looking for

  • Have solid experience of customer-facing Tier 2 or Tier 3 level Technical Support experience.
  • Have a solid understanding of IP Telephony, SIP or H323, and Audio/Video codecs
  • Have an education background in Engineering/Computer Science/Technology, or equivalent work experience
  • Be able to write technical documents (RFC, official documents of products, creating blog posts, etc.)
  • Have general network knowledge (CCNA, CompTIA Network,etc.)
  • Experience deploying .msi files and mass package creation and deployment
  • Have previous IT Administration, Network Security and Group Policy experience
