We are looking for a Senior Manager with a deep engineering background in building data solutions, including data pipelines, advanced machine learning models, data products and visualizations. The ideal candidate needs to have experience with large software telemetry data sets.
You will be responsible for delivering data solutions that drive business transformations, working closely with product management and go-to-market teams. Reporting to the Global Head of Data & Analytics, you’ll lead the delivery of solutions leveraging Zoom product telemetry data. The role requires extensive leadership in software engineering, people management, and technical depth across a multi-stack cloud data ecosystem.
About the Team
The Data Team drives data-informed decision-making at Zoom, supporting product development with behavioral insights and helping go-to-market teams with risk and buying propensity scores. We aim to deliver better products and sales outcomes while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements for millions of users globally.
What we’re looking for
Have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Have 15+ years experience in various data roles across data engineering, ML Engineering and data analytics, ideally in SaaS companies. At least 5 to 7 years of leadership experience
Possess excellent people management skills with proven track record of performance management
Experience in building data products using data technologies like Snowflake, DBT, Python, Airflow, Kafka, Tableau, GraphDB, Notebooks etc
Show expertise in data architecture, compliance, data security, and governance. Proven experience in developing and operating cloud-based data solutions
Present effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in delivering data solutions in Go-to-market domains is highly valued.
