What you can expect
As a Monitoring Engineer Telco Operations, you will design, configure, and maintain a highly available SIP trunking and global routing solution. You will follow operational change processes and provide deployment support, including testing, for application releases. Additionally, you will design and implement monitoring, telemetry, and data processing solutions to support real-time traffic analysis. There will be rotational on-call work that's required for this position.

The team manages telecom infrastructure that connects ZoomPhone and Zoom Contact Center. By employing robust operational and monitoring strategies, they guarantee the stability and security of Zoom's infrastructure, allowing millions of users worldwide to connect effortlessly.
What we’re looking for
Have at least 7+ years in similar role(s)
Demonstrate advanced level understanding of SIP, RTP, RTCP, TLS, SRTP, SIP trunking
Have experience in ELK, Grafana, Splunk and other monitoring/ scripting tools
Have expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas, Jupyter Notebook), Shell Scripting, Ansible , Rest API etc.
Have proficiency in cloud platforms and technologies including AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, GCP etc
Show ownership in seeking out solutions for problems to optimize cost, performance and quality of existing solution
Possess effective email and verbal communication skills working with vendors and external partners
Can Multitask and collaborate well with team members
