Drive the creation and scaling of custom agentic features, transforming foundation models into a robust, configurable AI workflow platform embedded across Zoom’s ecosystem.
Collaborate with engineering, research, design, data, marketing, and users to shape the evolution of AI Companion, improving productivity and automating business processes effectively.
Focus on delivering scalable, reliable, and extensible AI solutions tailored for business users and developers within Zoom’s collaboration and process automation framework.


About the Team


The Zoom AI Product team drives AI strategy, defining AI Companion and platform capabilities while integrating generative AI, automation, and agent technologies across Zoom’s products.
This team transforms advanced AI innovations into impactful experiences and scalable platforms for users, businesses, and developers.
This position involves leading agentic workflows, overseeing cross-product and platform development for custom agent functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Defining the product vision, roadmap, and milestones for Zoom AI Companion in the areas of agentic workflows, custom agents, and automation platforms.

  • Developing and implementing adaptable agent frameworks and workflow functionalities, including task organization, resource utilization, collaborative systems, memory retention, contextual oversight, and performance tracking.

  • Developing deep understanding of real user pain points in meetings, collaboration, and enterprise workflows, and abstract complex real-world scenarios into reusable, scalable AI workflow capabilities.

  • Partnering closely with AI/ML and platform engineering teams to translate the latest model and agent technologies into high-reliability, observable, and evaluable product systems

  • Driving end-to-end product management from concept and prototyping to scaled launch.

  • Establishing core success metrics for agentic products.

  • Leading cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, data, legal, privacy and security to ensure enterprise-grade compliance, controllability, and explain ability of agentic workflows.

  • Partnering with marketing, customer success, and strategy teams to deliver agentic solutions for enterprises and developers.

What we’re looking for

  • Need Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Have 6+ years of product management experience, with background in AI products, platform products, developer tools, or enterprise systems

  • Need to have hands-on experience delivering products or prototypes in generative AI, AI agents, automation, RAG, intelligent assistants, or agent-based systems

  • Demonstrate understanding of agentic systems, including planning, tool calling, memory, multi-agent orchestration, and evaluation

  • Demonstrate expertise in cloud platforms and AI application architectures, transforming unclear challenges into defined products while collaborating efficiently with engineering teams.

  • Have a proven record of building new products from 0 to 1 and successfully scaling them

  • Need the ability to drive complex cross-functional initiatives and create clarity in highly ambiguous environments

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly articulate highly technical product value to engineers, designers, and leadership teams

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$124,000.00

Maximum:

$271,200.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
