Business System Analyst , Data & Analytics

What you can expect

As a Business System Analyst at Zoom, you will support enterprise data, analytics, and AI initiatives. You will work closely with Data Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Data Platform teams. You will improve delivery visibility, strengthen documentation, and ensure alignment between design and implementation. You will also help deliver the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and other data solutions efficiently and in line with business goals.

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years of combined professional experience in a Business System Analyst and/or Scrum Master role, with background in a data-focused environment.

• Show functional knowledge and hands-on proficiency with SQL for conducting data analysis and validation.

• Have functional knowledge of Snowflake/Data Cloud environments and business intelligence tools like Tableau.

• Have extensive experience working within Enterprise Data Warehouse environments and a deep understanding of data modeling concepts.

• Demonstrate solid conceptual understanding of data principles, including Data Ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, data quality, and data governance.

• Have direct exposure to AI/ML concepts and knowledge of how data is integrated into predictive models.

• Show familiarity with Jira for efficient backlog management and delivery tracking.

• Demonstrate ability to bridge technical and non-technical communication gaps, translating complex concepts clearly, with negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations.

• Have Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification - considered a bonus.
