What to Expect:

We're seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our high-performing team. In this role, you'll research and prospect target companies to generate qualified opportunities for our sales organization. Success requires strong collaboration skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a genuine passion for connecting with potential clients.

About the Team:

Our BDR team is the engine of Zoom's sales growth. Through strategic outreach and a customer-focused approach, we expand Zoom's global footprint by conducting 70+ daily outbound activities across multiple channels—calls, emails, social selling, and video messages.

This role requires resilience: not every prospect will be ready to engage. We're looking for team members who view rejection as part of the process and stay energized to uncover the next great opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales teams to prioritize and target regional accounts aligned with business objectives
  • Execute 70+ daily outbound activities using calls, emails, social selling, video messages, and event-based outreach
  • Develop highly segmented, personalized messaging and sales strategies across multiple channels (social, email, phone, Alyce, events)
  • Achieve quarterly quotas while collaborating closely with Account Executives to hit team goals
  • Engage effectively with C-level executives and VPs, understanding their business challenges and positioning Zoom as a solution
  • Craft compelling, creative outreach that drives engagement and opens doors

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas in a BDR or similar role
  • Experience conducting high-volume outbound prospecting (70+ activities/day)
  • Comfort engaging senior executives and tailoring messaging to their business priorities
  • Strong collaboration skills - you thrive working with sales teams toward shared goals
  • Resilience and optimism - you handle rejection well and stay motivated to find new opportunities
  • Creative communication skills - you know how to stand out in a crowded inbox or voicemail

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$56,500.00

Maximum:

$105,900.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
