Zoom Sales Business Development Leader (Strategy) - Zoom Rooms

We are seeking a senior strategic leader to define, design and drive selling strategies with Zoom’s diverse ecosystem of conferencing room and workspace hardware partners. This involves proactively identifying win-win opportunities, planning with internal cross-functional and hardware partner stakeholders, defining joint go to market business plans, and driving the execution and delivery of strategic big bet programs. The primary goal of the role is to drive growth for the Zoom Rooms global sales organization through management of the go to market relationship between Zoom and its hardware partners.
This role is intended to be very strategic as you will create & drive joint sales and market strategy awareness inside of Zoom as well as inside of our hardware partners sales organizations. Additionally you will be responsible for creating the processes to manage the partner go to market relationship, driving awareness and enablement with Zoom’s direct and channel sellers, and be the conduit for all hardware partner related sales activities. It is critical that this leader owns partnering with Zoom and our hardware partners Sales, Marketing, Product and Communications teams to capitalize on significant market momentum.
Create & Deliver strategic joint sales messaging and positioning, in alignment with product marketing for on-demand Zoom and hardware partner sales training content
Conduct live in-person and virtual sales training to drive internal and external awareness
Participate & deliver training for new hire boot camps (as required)
Identify and develop joint go to market strategies
Develop joint promotional programs
Identify and drive accountability of shared selling goals
Be the Zoom Rooms sales organization’s subject matter expert and educator on our hardware partners products, capabilities and roadmap
Enhance Zoom Rooms and Workspaces internal hardware partner content and effective touch points in the sales cycle (via account planning, sales pitch development, professional services, channel enablement)
Foster internal relationships to educate sales teams on the value of the Zoom Rooms and Workspaces hardware partner ecosystem as a strategic part of the business
Continually enhance product and operational process knowledge to maintain role as a Zoom Rooms and Workspaces hardware subject matter expert
Partner with Zoom Room Sales leadership to develop and enable the Zoom Specialists, Channel, & AE sales organizations
Act as the central point of contact for all hardware partner sales escalations
Conduct Zoom Rooms specialist, Channel & Verticals team needs assessment
Participate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals
Accountability will driven by MBO (Management by Objectives) Compensation plan on a quarterly basis
Win Stories/Best Practices - build out collateral and tools to share
Joint Solution Positioning - work cross functionally and cross organizationaly with product marketing, product management and sales teams to ensure the highest impact product positioning
Knowledge Assets management - Guru, training mediums (Workramp, new hire basecamp)
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Must understand video conferencing, room systems (hardware and software), and hybrid team collaboration
10+ years of proven Sales Strategy or Business Development experience
Sales leadership experience a plus
Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Self motivated individual with the ability to work in a changing environment
Consultative seller with strong business acumen
Strong presentation skills to create succinct and engaging sales messaging, training material and supporting documents
Experience leading others with product training; sales best practices; demo and sales guides; learning and training materials.
Ability and aptitude to work within various medium to coach & develop individual sellers
Ability to evaluate complex processes and apply critical-thinking skills & develop new systems to improve workflow
Excellent skills in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google products
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative environment
Fluency in 2 or more languages a plus
Willing to travel both domestically and abroad
Have a demonstrated, proven track record of driving for results

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.
