Our team is growing and we are looking for exceptional Online leadership talent!

The Group Manager, Online UX is a newly created role that requires a leader who can be both hands-on and lead a team of UX designers, researchers, and writers. This leader will shape the direction of our e-commerce desktop and mobile experiences globally, and ensure Zoom continues to deliver world-class experiences. In this role, you will provide UX expertise across the organization, help inform priorities and roadmaps and influence ways of working. You will work closely with the brand, digital, and product teams to ensure a consistent look and feel across the entire customer journey. The ideal candidate will have experience with e-commerce that services consumers and/or SMBs and is able to flex between driving strategy and executing at scale.  

About the Role

- Set the overall Online UX strategy that defines the team’s priorities and goals and delivers against our growth KPIs. 

- Contribute to early-stage discovery and product definition by developing an understanding and definition of users, framing the problem, generating design principles, developing concepts and models, and evaluating current state experiences

- Conduct research, both primary and secondary, to inform and evaluate experiences

- Translate requirements and user needs into tangible interaction designs through detailed user flows and wireframes

- Communicate design decisions, rationale, and direction through presentations and other documentation

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketers to design highly engaging and on-brand experiences for Zoom’s users

- Lead the development of Zoom’s design system with key stakeholders across the organization 

- Manage and grow a team of highly motivated and talented UX experts

About You: 

- 10+ years of work experience in design and UX, and experience working on an agile product team 

- 3+ years of experience leading a UX team

- A deep understanding of design, usability, and research best practices

- Experience flexing between strategy and planning and execution

- Experience building and maintaining design systems 

- The ideal candidate is a leader who is strategic, resourceful, and knows how to deliver results

- They have experience in building scalable programs and have demonstrated the ability to drive cross-functional alignment

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that enable strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization

- Can operate successfully in ambiguous environments and is able to re-prioritize to new demands

- Craft compelling designs, messaging, and executive-level presentations

- Creative thinker that can generate innovative design ideas, work collaboratively, and lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution

- Experience with and passion for technology, marketing, e-Commerce, and Zoom

- Strong executive presence and engagement skills

- Self-motivated, team-player that is able to influence cross-functional teams and leaders

Fraudulent Employment Offers

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.
