You will be part of the Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center Operation team that maintains the infrastructure, products, releases and service qualities. This team maintains infrastructures both in cloud and on premise; deploys releases and maintains SLA across different services and regions. In this role, you will help to manage multiple simultaneous projects for infrastructure builds, deploy releases, work with teams across multiple business units to ensure Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center's SLA, be accountable to management as well as other business units for the timelines for these projects, and manage the communications with international and US teams.

You will work with our Development, Product, Partnerships, Sales and Operations teams to manage the operation side projects. Daily tasks would include following up with different teams to get status on different parts of the overall project; Working with various other departments to ensure smooth operation of different workflows; Working with team managers for following up key tasks and initiatives, and Scheduling calls for design discussions, troubleshooting sessions, etc.

Responsibilities

  • You will be the technical project manager for multiple projects for operation work in Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center
  • You will work with several different internal teams as well as external partners to ensure smooth changes into the ecosystem
  • You will hold weekly status calls with team managers to give status updates of tasks and projects
  • You will develop relationships with key members of each team needed for the operation side work
  • You will maintain up-to-date information in project planning tools and dashboard for various infra build, release deploy and HA improvements topics
  • You will assist each team involved in streamlining their work and processes to make the end-to-end process as concise yet thorough as possible
  • You will assist internal teams in developing their documentation

Requirements

  • You have experience developing repeatable processes
  • You have experience working with teams in multiple time zones around the globe
  • You have experience developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • You have experience motivating team members to be able to finish their part of projects
  • You have experience managing multiple concurrent projects with multiple work streams across cross-functional teams
  • You have experience in DevOps knowledge (Linux & Kubernetes), familiar with cloud technologies and essential OS and coding knowledge
  • You have experience in the telecom industry and are familiar with typical telecom terms and overall designs
  • You have excellent communication and documentation skills

 
Bonus Points

  • You have experience working directly with/for Telecom Carriers
  • You have knowledge of docker, Git, and monitoring
  • You have knowledge of SIP trunking and SIP standards
  • You have an understanding of call flows in multiple environments
  • You're Bilingual/Multilingual
