The platform engineering team at Zoom is responsible for the Zoom SDK product line, that enables seamless integration with Zoom core services into various mobile or desktop applications. 

As an SDK engineer, you will be responsible for delivering state-of-the-art features for Zoom SDK products. In addition to immersing in a full software development life cycle, you will also gain a unique opportunity to deeply dive into Zoom video communications platforms and enjoy daily collaboration with our highly talented team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop core SDK features/functionalities

  • Build test automation framework to ensure SDK product quality

  • Drive SDK release cycles and closely monitor SDK production environment

  • Extend current SDK demo app collections to demonstrate vertical specific use cases

  • Triage critical customer issues and provide technical guidance for customer engagement

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS (CS or related major preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years of native client SDK development experience

  • Strong programming skills in Javascript, Typescript.

  • Good understanding of web platforms.

  • Familiar with JS frameworks (i.e. React,, Angular, Node.js, etc.), HTML5 and CSS.

  • Familiar with RxJS, redux, redux-observable.

  • Familiar with webpack, babel, rollup.

  • Solid in cloud technologies (i.e. Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs)

  • Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design

  • Willing to learn, proactive, creative thinking

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees.
