Key to guaranteeing our success is operational excellence. Our Billing Systems team has a great opportunity for the right candidate to lead our Billing operations function. This position will be dynamic and challenging and we are looking for the right individual that can think on their feet and really embrace new challenges as they come along. 


  • Ensure smooth operation of daily, monthly and quarterly activities, including, but not limited to: Payments, Billing Runs, API connectivity,Revenue and Accounting period close
  • Establish Billing operations KPI’s and build dashboards to monitor billing activities
  • Document operational processes and train offshore team to perform those activities
  • Apply deep knowledge of Billing Systems to work with Engineering teams in troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
  • Lead offshore team to perform operational tasks
  • Work with Engineering team to ensure Billing applications are instrumented to enable operational monitoring of Billing Applications 
  • Evaluate and implement tools like PagerDuty to ensure 24x7 production response schedules 
  • Ensure data consistency across systems from source systems like CPQ, e-Commerce and Target Systems, like Data Warehouse, Financials engine
  • Liaise with Vendors to create and monitor tickets to ensure timely issue resolution
  • Leas incident response and drive “War room” sessions to ensure closure on P-1 issues
  • Drive automation initiatives to automate repetitive operational and system reconciliation tasks
  • Participate in system audits to ensure SOX Compliance
  • Partner with Finance and Data Science team in creation of Ad-hoc data reports and lead systemization of repeating tasks
  • Ensure Invoices are generated on a timely basis
  • Monitor integration with Tax Systems to ensure tax compliance
  • Monitor Payments operations and work closely with Payments team to ensure high authorization rates
  • Work with Engineering team on Data migration activities
  • Participate in Solution Design sessions in support of new initiatives
  • Work with Release management and QA team to ensure seamless software releases 
  • Participate in Fraud prevention and Fraud mitigation programs and ensure these initiatives are implemented and operate correctly
  • Maintain System Roles, Permissions and User Access to Billing System


  • 8+ years of experience in an operational role leading Billing Operations
  • 3+ years experience in a software development role
  • Demonstrated track record in optimizing Billing operations resulting in cost savings and improved end-customers experience
  • Experience with Enterprise-grade ERP, Billing Systems(Zuora, BRM, SAP BRIM, Oracle R12, Netsuite)
  • Experience in application Integration tools - Talend/Mulesoft/Zuora Workflow
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous process improvement
  • Experience with Revenue Recognition systems to support ASC 606
  • Exceptional Business Acumen
  • Software Architecture mindset
  • Knowledge of executing SOAP/REST API’s using Postman, SoapUI
  • SQL, BI Tools(Tableau, Cognos, Domo, Oracle BI)
