Software Engineer - Device Management

About the Team:

This is a new position which will have you working with the Zoom Phone team as one of their first Device Management Developers. You will help build dashboards for Zoom Phone Appliances and Hardware as a Service (HaaS) products and ensure proper monitoring and maintenance exist.


About the Role:

  • You will develop the Zoom Phone device management platform.

  • You can design then implement modules for device communication protocol and partner developer console.

  • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide technical tools to resolve issues in the production environment.

  • Analyze and optimize program performance, and monitoring.

  • You will report to the head of Zoom Phone and work with different departments within Zoom.


About You:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related

  • 3+ years of experience

  • You are proficient in Java language, familiar with HTTP protocol and servlet specification.

  • You are a master Java open source frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Mybatis

  • You have experience with Java Multithreading: concurrent data structures, parallel algorithms, and thread management

  • You work relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, DynamoDB, Hbase, Redis or others.

  • You have ample design and coding skills, understand object-oriented design, familiar with object-oriented design principles, master design patterns, and application scenarios

  • Java technology systems (including JVM, class loading mechanism, multithreading concurrency, IO, network)


Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field

  • IOT or MQTT development 

  • Android development experience
