About the Team

As the Contact Center Platform API Strategy Product Manager, you will craft our API strategy, be responsible for inbound and outbound automation solutions, engage with our partners and our customers' users to understand their workflows, work with other PMs to build supporting APIs and deliver world class integrations for Zoom's Contact Center platform.

About the Role

  • You will dive into competitive research and understand the competitive landscape of contact center applications and integrations
  • Have a clear understanding of how key personas and workflows map across major verticals
  • You will formulate and promote our API, automation and workflow strategy to internal and external stakeholders
  • Design specifications and prioritize requirements to develop highly leveraged APIs needed for building the automation solution
  • Work with design and engineering to build key automation & integration workflows.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure the APIs you launch interoperate with other products in the Zoom product suite
  • Help manage internal and external resources to ensure completion of projects.
  • Work closely with Zoom's Platform and Marketplace team to design and influence partner integration flows on the front end and back end.
  • Work with developer relations team to develop educational content for developers, helping them onboard faster
  • Define developer needs and personas and help guide deals in the pipeline towards the right integration solution
  • Drive technical partnership and integration with 3rd party applications and service providers.
  • Promote the Contact Center platform to internal stakeholders, development community and customers

About You

  • 7+ years' Product Management experience
  • 5+ Years' API Product Management experience
  • 3+ Years' Developer experience
  • Passionate to write code to demonstrate the powerfulness of the API platform
  • Crystallize vague concepts into concise tactical plans
  • Experience creating technical product and design documents
  • Understanding of technologies that enable customer communications across multiple channels –Voice, Video, Chat, SMS, Social, UCaaS/ CCaaS etc.
  • Experience building APIs for SaaS products and evolving those products into platforms
  • Experience building integrations into CRMs like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Zendesk and other integration platforms.
  • Experience integrating third-party apps into a core product
  • Understanding that speed is everything but prioritizing the right thing is equally important - you appreciate delivering impact quickly
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Colorado Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$116,820.00 USD

Maximum :

$216,090.00 USD

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus and equity value.  Information about Zoom’s benefits is hereNote: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.  We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
