Zoom is looking for an Experimentation Analyst to partner with the Testing Organization across our global websites. This role will report to the Experimentation Lead. This candidate will align with our product development, analytics, marketing, design, and business stakeholders for Zoom.us to analyze the effectiveness of our testing campaigns. This candidate will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders throughout the testing process, statistically analyzing results to create actionable recommendations, and distilling insights from multiple data sets both; quantitative and qualitative.  This candidate must be able to think strategically and tactically and be comfortable with the fast-paced nature of a high-growth company. Passion for learning, innovation, and collaboration is a must. 

  

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Analyzing testing results based on statistical methods to provide statistically significant, sound recommendations to push winning solutions into production for all traffic 

  • Determine test result statistical significance, level of confidence, when to stop testing, recommend next steps, and discern key takeaways  

  • Define new opportunities to test using data-driven observations and analysis 

  • Documenting test results/implications, and using this knowledge to iterate upon test concepts and further optimize the customer experience  

  • Work with optimization specialist to QA A/B tests before they go live to ensure we have the correct critical metrics set up, as well as any other event metrics necessary to perform a proper analysis. 

  • Advocating for data-driven decision-making and customer-centricity across all touchpoints of digital product experience 

  • Work with Experimentation Lead to evangelize proper data governance, test design, and analysis methodology regarding all testing initiatives 

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new analytics products, and new features within existing platforms. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, etc. 

  • Knowledge of testing platforms such as Optimizely, Google Optimize, and/or Adobe Target  

  • Proficiency in ContentSquare software or other Digital Experience Analytics software 

  • Experience analyzing successful A/B & Multivariate tests for digital organizations 

  • Experience using SQL to query databases  

  • Previous experience using statistical methods to analyze data proficiency in statistical hypothesis testing (sampling, variance, statistical significance, confidence intervals, regression, wins within confidence levels, etc.) 

  • Comfortable working with others and a clear, confident communicator 

  • Quantitative thinker, data-driven mindset balanced with a customer-driven approach 

  • Self-starter comfortable in a dynamic work environment 

  • Ability to document and present results to differing stakeholders 

  • Team player with a growth-mindset
