Zoom Events provides immersive virtual consumer event experiences for companies of all sizes, from solo entrepreneurs, to small-medium businesses, to large enterprises. Success means we’re delivering the most delightful and empowering event and video experience to our customers and users. 

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a full stack development team that is responsible for accomplishing Zoom Events product visions and providing the most delightful online event and video experience to Zoom customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering team effort to effectively execute product roadmaps and produce quality deliverables

• Collaborate with cross-functional peers (i.e. product, design, marketing, support) and make strategic influence to shape product vision

• Recruit top-notch technical talent and provide mentorship to team members

• Guide architecture design and solve complex technical challenges as a hands-on leader

• Work with key stakeholders to extend current test automation infrastructure

• Proactively support customer needs and drive timely technical resolution

• Drive release process, evangelize agile best practices and promote innovation

Qualifications:

• BS/MS (CS or related major preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of people management experience in building and leading geographically distributed engineering teams 

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on development experience for large-scale cloud native applications, or Enterprise collaboration software solutions. Expertise in cloud infrastructure technologies (i.e. Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, AWS, NoSQL) is a plus

• Deep understanding and extensive experience of event management platform and real-time collaboration tools are highly desirable

• Familiar with other leading e-commerce or app marketplace platforms

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and support a rapidly growing business

• Demonstrated experience in project management and technical recruiting

• Track record in positively impacting individual team members and supporting their career growth goals
