As a Reporting Analyst and dashboard developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and supporting of business intelligence, analysis, and reporting solutions. You will be responsible for data modeling and reporting. Design and develop reporting solutions in a Microsoft tools environment, and will be responsible for adhering to current reporting procedures and techniques. In support of these responsibilities, you  will meet with business users and management to create requirement documents for reporting needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver management dashboards and canned reports to support routine management oversight of business processes to ensure critical insight into exceptions and deliverables

  • Create and deliver routine and ad hoc reporting needed to understand various aspects of processes and the portfolio performance and staffing needs

  • Identify, lead, and oversee projects and analysis related to reporting needs to establish superior operational reporting within Loan Administration

  • Support, maintenance and/or build of Access Databases to support operational needs

  • Miscellaneous projects or tasks as assigned by the SLS leadership team

  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  •  BS/MS degree Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience working with Java

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English communication

  • Strong design and coding skills, understand object-oriented design

  • Understands complex workflows and develop valid innovative solutions to solve difficult problems.

  • Demonstrated experience with SQL Server Databases and SQL Server Reporting Services preferred.

  • Proficient in Javascript, HTML, CSS and other frontend technologies.

  • Experienced in one of the modern Javascript frameworks such as Vue or React

  • Proven experience in implementing integrations to support different software features and functions

  • Experience in building application platform solutions integrating with third party applications and services, like integrated with JIRA, Gtilab, testrail, etc

  • Experience with HTTPs and REST API

  • Familiarity with Java, Spring backend technologies

  • Familiarity with Linux, Nginx, Tomcat optimization technologies

  • Familiarity with Redis, Kafka, ES technologies

  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong ability to communicate with business users and management of all levels for development and delivery of reporting requirements. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.

  • Proficient knowledge of personal computers using Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio with advanced skills required in Excel and Access.

  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills preferred

  • It will be great bonus if familiarity with OLAP database technologies
