As a strategic thought-leader with technical and sales acumen, the Solutions Architect on the Advanced Services team delivers happiness by architecting simple solutions for modern challenges.
The ideal candidate must be self-driven and have a background in various technologies including knowledge of the Zoom platform (Chat, Meetings, Video, Phone, Marketplace/API) and/or competitive equivalent. In-depth knowledge of commonly integrated non-Zoom solutions is preferred.
The Solutions Architect must be able to understand and articulate Zoom's architectural advantages and collaborate with cross-functional teams in designing, implementing, and expanding solutions for our customer’s biggest collaboration challenges.
A Solutions Architect provides in-depth product knowledge to inform enterprise necessities such as deployment design and planning. As a Solutions Architect, you will document all facets of system integration including comprehensive drawing sets, parts lists, cable schedules, and system configuration details. You serve as an integral team member with the client, account team, project manager, and the service team to support ontime delivery of solutions and services that meet or exceed customer requirements within expected budgets and project schedules.
Members of this team must also maintain a high level of professionalism and ongoing proficiency in the video, audio, networking, desktop, and mobile technologies through continued self-study and other certification achievements.
Experience in the engineering and design of audiovisual systems, including but not limited to: projection and display, pro-audio performance systems, conferencing sound and speech reinforcement; audio, video and web conferencing; analog and digital signal processing, distribution and routing, and integrated control systems
Knowledge of audiovisual architectural and construction requirements, including but not limited to: sightline studies; structural support requirements; cabling pathways; power and grounding
Knowledge in the design of using equipment from a variety of professional AV equipment manufacturers.
Knowledge of software AV design tools
Minimum of 3 years of audio visual design experience or demonstrated equivalence
CTS-D, Q-Sys, Dante certifications preferred
History of industry or organizational leadership
An ability to represent the technical aspects of how and why we solve customer problems related to their adoption of Zoom
Software as a Service knowledge preferred
Must be able to adapt to an evolving environment and set of responsibilities
Excellent communication skills
Manage a multitude of projects and deployment types
Problem solve effectively and efficiently
Ensure work is performed in accordance with a high standard of service and quality
High level of attention to detail while maintaining vision of the larger business objectives
Plan, organize and manage resources

Fraudulent Employment Offers
Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.
Please be advised that these offers, communications and impersonations are illegitimate and fraudulent. All communication with Zoom employees come from a “@zoom.us” email address. Zoom job applicants complete an interview process including in-person (on Zoom) meetings and phone calls. Our process also requires you to create an account with our applicant tracking system, Workday.
Zoom will never ask for your personally identifying information during the interview process or ask you to pay money or purchase equipment. If you have received a message from Zoom that appears suspicious, please contact email@example.com.
