The Marketing & Customer Success Vertical is looking for someone who can help connect the dots in order for us to quantify and analyze the entire customer journey from beginning to end (i.e., from Campaigns to Lead to Conversion). This will require building up our Customer 360 view via our Customer Data Platform (CDP) that is being developed. The overarching goal is seamless integration in order to capture & analyze customer or visitor behavior data and integrate that across Sales, Product, and Marketing pipelines to create a common view of the customer. As part of this we need to capture, collect, and rationalize customer touch points across all channels to create customer segments and profiles. The candidate will also need to lead the building of a marketing data platform that will be used to drive personalization & targeting on our marketing sites and within our products. We are also looking for someone to build the data product that will drive marketing automation across all channels, including integrating customer and product telemetry to enhance Customer 360 to drive upsell/cross-sell and retention marketing motions.

About the Role

  • Product Managers sit at the intersection of Data, Technology, and Business. Marketing PM will be responsible for creating a vision and formulating strategy for Marketing data products to enable business outcomes. A person in this role will define product capability and own backlogs (epics, stories) with justification for trade-offs and prioritization decisions and earn buy-in from stakeholders across multiple teams.

  • Provide regular two-way communication with senior management and internal customers regarding status, risks, mitigations, and change control.

  • Disrupt with positive and tangible business outcomes based on the latest industry trends, off-the-shelf solutions, subject matter expertise and thought leadership. Examples of outcomes include but are not limited to accurate measurement of Marketing ROI and curation of Customer 360 datasets, and will include the use of statistical analyses as well as predictive and ML modeling.

  • Ensure data products and capabilities are compliant with various local, state, and country specific data regulations.

About You

  • Product management experience taking large scale marketing data initiatives from vision to reality, working with large volumes & variety of data, cross functional technical/business teams, and systems.

  • Must have hands-on experience in analyzing Marketing data (campaigns, leads, attributions, customer life cycle data, etc.) 

  • Experience using, designing, and building data products to support Marketing platforms and tools (e.g., multi-channel campaign management/Customer Data Platform). Deep practical knowledge of industry standard Marketing metrics, KPIs, self-service reports or dashboards provided by open source / commercial platforms.

  • Has extensively used, integrated with, built data products on top of industry-standard marketing & customer journey platforms such as Gainsight, Pardot, Google Analytics, etc.

  • Experience designing and building Marketing data products – analytics / data platforms / data lake / warehouse / predictive solutions. 

  • Experience with Customer Success teams, platforms, and metrics are a bonus.

  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle process (SDLC) and Agile methodology for iterative delivery.

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field.

  • Minimum 10+ years of total experience required. The experience needs to be both product management and data with a focus in Marketing:

    • 5+ years of technical hands-on experience in Marketing analytics as a data engineer, scientist, or analyst.

    • 5+ years in a Marketing product management role, preferably within a data group.

  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, structured/unstructured data, and datastores (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, MySQL, PostGresSQL, etc.).
