The Online team oversees the entire user journey for Zoom’s consumer and small business users. We find future users of Zoom products and then engage with them every step of the way–from sign up to onboarding to upgrade and beyond. With engineering, data science, marketing, design, product management, and technical project management all in one organization, we are able to move quickly to create meaningful acquisition, engagement, and retention experiences for millions of our users worldwide.

About The Role

Zoom’s Online team seeks a creative, data-driven Product Manager to join our team to drive growth initiatives with a specific focus on sign up and in-product monetization experiences for small businesses and consumers. You won’t own a specific product but rather will help ensure active users are introduced to and converted into our growing portfolio of subscription-based unified communications products.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Partner with colleagues in Design, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing to define and develop amazing user experiences to sign up users and drive monetization

  • Take an ownership mindset and deliver results of product-led growth initiatives  in partnership with a variety of partners and stakeholders from across Zoom

  • Dig into data, both qualitative and quantitative, to challenge and improve on our understanding of users and the frictions they experience with an eye on influencing short-term engagement and retention

  • Partner with Go-To-Market colleagues to ensure that your work complements other upgrade efforts.

  • Combine creativity with thoughtful experimentation and iteration to find the solutions to problems that are most important to new users

  • Have a massive impact on products used by millions of people worldwide

Here’s what you bring:

  • 3+ years of product management experience defining and delivering world-class SaaS and/or consumer software products in a high-velocity environment

  • 1+ years experience in growth product

  • Proven ability to work closely with product designers to deliver impactful and simple user experiences

  • Strong prioritization and impact mindset.

  • Understanding of analytics, business intelligence, user research, and business cases to drive decisions and improve products

  • Familiarity with user experience and user interface best practices across web, native desktop, and native mobile

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience high-level business discussions, in-product content, customer interviews, and technical discussions

  • Internal drive, customer empathy, and integrity

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Fraudulent Employment Offers

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.

Please be advised that these offers, communications and impersonations are illegitimate and fraudulent. All communication with Zoom employees come from a “@zoom.us” email address. Zoom job applicants complete an interview process including in-person (on Zoom) meetings and phone calls. Our process also requires you to create an account with our applicant tracking system, Workday.

Zoom will never ask for your personally identifying information during the interview process or ask you to pay money or purchase equipment. If you have received a message from Zoom that appears suspicious, please contact careers@zoom.us.
