The Zoom AI Agent team is responsible for turning frontier AI, agent, automation, and multimodal technologies into real product experiences used by millions of people.

The team focuses on building top-notch agentic products that bridge cutting-edge AI technologies with Zoom’s large user base and enterprise collaboration platform. We aim to create trusted AI collaborators that help users communicate, coordinate, automate work, and execute processes across Zoom and third-party tools.

  • Translating frontier AI capabilities (e.g., reasoning, planning, tool use, memory, multimodal understanding, agent orchestration) into practical product experiences.
  • Identifying high-value user and enterprise workflows where agents can create step-function productivity gains.
  • Partnering with AI research, ML engineering, platform engineering, and product engineering to define agent architecture, tool integrations, memory, evaluation, observability, and reliability requirements.
  • Designing agent experiences that balance autonomy with user control, including permissions, confirmations, auditability, explainability, and enterprise admin controls.
  • Establishing quality and success metrics for agentic products, including task completion, reliability, latency, cost, safety, trust, adoption, and business impact.
  • Collaborating with design, data, security, privacy, legal, marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver enterprise-grade agent products at scale.

  • Demonstrate track record building 0-to-1 products and scaling them into high-impact offerings.
  • Need technical understanding of AI agent systems, including LLMs, reasoning, planning, tool calling, RAG, memory, agent orchestration, evaluation, observability, and safety.
  • Possess experience working with AI/ML, research, infrastructure, or platform teams to bring emerging technologies into production.
  • Have product judgment for agentic user experiences, including when agents should act autonomously, ask for confirmation, or escalate to users.
  • Demonstrate understanding of knowledge workers and enterprise customers by transforming intricate workflows into clear, reusable product patterns.
  • Have analytical thinking and ability to define metrics, run experiments, and make trade-offs across user value, reliability, cost, latency, and risk.

Fraudulent Employment Offers

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.

Please be advised that these offers, communications and impersonations are illegitimate and fraudulent. All communication with Zoom employees come from a “@zoom.us” email address. Zoom job applicants complete an interview process including in-person (on Zoom) meetings and phone calls. Our process also requires you to create an account with our applicant tracking system, Workday.

Zoom will never ask for your personally identifying information during the interview process or ask you to pay money or purchase equipment. If you have received a message from Zoom that appears suspicious, please contact us here
