About the Team

Zoom's Global Payments Team is looking to add a Payments Analyst - Marketplace to the team. We're looking for a highly organized and efficient professional who can wear multiple hats throughout the workday while prioritizing the most important tasks on his or her list.

We are looking for an experienced analyst to lead payment optimizations for our growing Marketplace portfolio. You will shape and drive payments operations to ensure payment performance.

Reporting to the Head of Global Payments, and part of the growing global payments team, you will define and support important aspects of our payments, services, billing, and customer experiences, including overseeing payment processing solutions, helping establish strategies on payment methods, driving incremental improvements to our transactional flows, maximizing efficiencies to improve billing health while reducing costs, and last but not least adding support for new products to the portfolio.

About the Role

  • Provide overall payments implementation expertise, while assisting in the daily payment operations and optimization of the Marketplace portfolio.
  • Identify & improve business processes across every face of direct-to-consumer payments (i.e. costs, revenue, billing, customer experience, fraud, operations) while working with different teams to achieve business process improvements
  • Support a variety of account and payment administration tasks relating to daily finance, billing, and client support queries
  • Reduce friction by bridging the gap between manual processes , system improvements and bug fixes
  • Monitor payment KPIs and help develop and execute tactics to improve payments performance, including supporting direct to consumer market launches across the globe
  • Help manage vendor and partner relationships, while simultaneously pushing them to maintain new products
  • Guide our decisions through consumer payment analytics and data insights
  • Help develop ad-hoc analysis, reports, presentations, and special projects for Senior Management
  • Work cross-functionally throughout the organization (e-com, engineering, data science, finance, support, billing, legal, etc.) to build a best-in-class payment, risk and retention program, and provide ad-hoc support & reports
  • Track payment vendors and partners changes and payments industry trends using a variety of research resources

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years' total experience with knowledge of Payments, Global Marketplaces, App Stores, Finance, E-commerce, Billing Operations, and Customer Service-like processes
  • Inquisitive nature which helps with troubleshooting
  • Pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
  • Understanding of global enterprise business processes/challenges
  • In-depth payment business and technical domain knowledge including interchange, payment systems, payment risk (KYC, AML, Fraud,etc), billing; business development, tax, legal, and accounting.
  • Well versed in scaling up payments strategies for global marketplaces.
  • Experience working with global marketplaces like Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, AirBnB, Playstation Store, Apple Store, Google Play Store
  • Experience working with billing platforms like Zuora, Recurly and payment providers like Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, Braintree, Chase
  • Have technical proficiency in these systems - Tableau, LucidChart , Zendesk ticketing systems, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office Suite programs
  • Experience in A/B testing and data-driven optimization efforts to enhance the customer experience and deliver payments results
