We are looking for an exceptional Lead Product Manager for Messaging with deep expertise in messaging and collaboration products to work on expanding Zoom platform offering. This position involves working with large enterprise customers, building the roadmap, and developing client-facing features that enhance user experience with Zoom Chat.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead our Core Messaging team to define and execute our Chat client experience and assist with the development of Chat product features 

  • Define and develop advanced enterprise-grade features for Zoom desktop and mobile Client applications

  • Connect with customers to understand their goals and needs and translate those into specifications. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and drive delivery of features, processes and happiness. 

  • Collaborate with Engineering and business owners for project requirements and scope in order to drive delivery of features and processes. 

  • Prioritize roadmap and communicate plans with stakeholders.

  • Be familiar with day to day feature management tools like Jira, Asana, Confluence.  

  • Define product requirements and work with User Experience team to design our product experience

  • Create a world-class User Experience that delights our users

  • Gather user research and customer requests and translate them into clear and concise technical product requirements

  • Create consistent, unified experience across products, platforms, and devices

  • Evangelize our product and vision to customers of all sizes, from single proprietors to Fortune 100 executives.

  • Technical background is required, this position requires the candidate to have a high level understand of software architecture

  • Create consistent, unified experience across products, platforms, and devices

  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

Ideal candidates will have: 

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS based Enterprise focused organization

  • Experience in messaging and collaboration products

  • Experience creating technical product and design documents.

  • Strong UX/UI sensibility - you understand when having a few pixels offset could determine success or failure. 

  • Previously built applications for Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android.

  • Must have strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen

  • Demonstrated data-driven decision-making skills

  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, and self-motivated

  • A proven record of managing and successfully delivering new products and features

  • Ability to crystallize vague concepts into concise plans.

  • Understanding that speed is everything but prioritizing the right thing is equally important - you appreciate delivering impact quickly.


 

Nice to have:

  • Degree in Computer Science / Engineering 

  • High level understanding of compliance and security for Enterprise products

Colorado Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$129,800.00 USD

Maximum :

$240,100.00 USD

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus and equity value.  Information about Zoom’s benefits is hereNote: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.  We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
