The Core Marketing Science team sits at the heart of our Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence. Data and insights are the foundation of Zoom’s success - you'll be working cross-functionally with teams of scientists, engineers, marketers, and product professionals on some of the most critical projects in the company - whether it's exploratory research to predict user behavior, or running experiments to optimize untapped areas of growth, or developing machine learning models that deliver “happiness” to our users more consistently and at scale.

Join a group of passionate people committed to delivering happiness to our users and to each other.
Help build the vision for Core Marketing Science which includes, for example, designing and maintaining our Customer Data Platform and developing predictive models around things like Attribution, Customer Lifetime Value, and Churn. Define and execute on a plan to achieve that vision.
Drive the design, building, and productionalization of new personalization models and data pipelines and oversee the maintenance of existing pipelines.
Define and manage SLAs and alerting for production datasets and processes.
Oversee the creation and delivery of high impact dashboards and data visualizations.
Be an advocate for data quality across the Marketing Sciences area.
Build cross-functional relationships with Business Leaders in Marketing and Product Marketing to understand data needs and deliver on those needs.
Be a technical leader among the team and mentor other Data Scientists. Continue to enhance and protect the culture of our Zoom Data organization.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and at least 4 years of experience using data to facilitate decisions (or Masters degree and at least 2 years experience).
Substantial experience serving marketing or sales stakeholders, including proven impact from topics such as Attribution, Audience Segmentation, or Personalization.
Experience with statistical analyses using Python and relational database querying using SQL.
Working knowledge of standard machine learning algorithms and principles.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Past experience in mentorship of data scientists (or other data professionals).
Experience managing projects end-to-end in a cross-functional capacity.
Passionate about data science, analytics, and solving complex, and sometimes ambiguous, data problems.

Colorado Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Maximum :$181,170.00 USD
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus and equity value. Information about Zoom’s benefits is here. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.

Fraudulent Employment Offers
Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.
Please be advised that these offers, communications and impersonations are illegitimate and fraudulent. All communication with Zoom employees come from an “@zoom.us” email address. Zoom job applicants complete an interview process including in-person (on Zoom) meetings and phone calls.
