The ISV Solutions Engineer role at Zoom is an exciting and rewarding position. We are looking for a technical sales professional with knowledge of customer business drivers to adopt the Zoom Communication platform. The ISV Solutions Engineer acts as a trusted advisor and plays an integral part in delivering Happiness to our customers.

This individual serves as the lead advocate for ISV partners and customers; translating technical needs into product development, recommendations, testing of customer environments and driving customer demand/features internally within Zoom. Must be able to understand and articulate Zoom's architectural advantages to our customers and support the Account Executive when it comes to proposing and designing solutions to our customers biggest collaboration challenges.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have a background in integrated software sales with deep domain expertise in SaaS, API/SDK and ISV partnership models. Knowledge of the Zoom development platform (Marketplace, API/SDK) and/or competitive equivalent desired. In depth knowledge of the collaboration market and competitive landscape is preferred (Microsoft, RingCentral, Vonage-Nexmo, Twilio, Agora, Cisco, etc)

As an ISV Solutions Engineer you will be:

  • Driving pre-sales activities of a customer’s application development utilizing Zoom API/SDK

  • Conducting demo and proof of concepts for prospective Zoom customers, especially by leveraging Zoom API/SDK

  • Designing next generation communication solutions for Zoom customers

  • Solution and architectural design and selling

  • RFQ/RFP response/preparation

  • Building competitive intelligence

  • Working across multiple boundaries

  • Driving the Zoom Vision

There will be travel required in your territory. We will greatly promote the use of the amazing Zoom tools we have to maximize all the resources at Zoom.

Requirements

  • Strong programming and software development background

  • SaaS Collaboration pre-sales experience i.e. web conferencing, cloud voice, UCaaS

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a technical role building and supporting ISV partnerships in the enterprise software market

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Collaboration technologies as a customer facing technical role

  • Ability to mentor and support team members for API/SDK opportunities across APAC

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Create, present and document technical solutions

  • Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes

  • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent

Desired Skills

  • Experience with working within the tech start up community

  • Thorough competitive knowledge (in their area of specialization) including solution, technology and product offerings

  • End-to-end IT systems knowledge

  • Ability to apply IT Systems knowledge to customer solution design

  • Formulate and communicate a technical solution/vision

  • Understand Zoom partner and ecosystem partners, products and applications

  • Act as a leader when the situation warrants

  • Be flexible and able to function in a high growth environment
