Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the execution of the State & Local Government Sales Strategy

  • Manage and lead a team of First Line Sales Leaders and Account Managers

  • Collaborate with Regional Government Sales Leaders to develop a comprehensive sales coverage approach that provides the right levels of support to our customers and prospects

  • Continuously define and refine the key sales processes that can be consistently operationalized and create a clear execution plan that allows the State and Local Government team to exceed business targets and scale

  • Collaborates with the Sales Enablement team to develop a plan to on board new talent and continuously refresh the team’s knowledge of Zoom’s solutions, industry knowledge, technical skills and sales skills

  • Responsible for the development of an effective process for the recruitment, selection and on-boarding of new team members

  • Achieve quarterly new pipeline & revenue goals

  • Provide strong, collaborative leadership to motivate the team to success

 
Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with State & Local Government Sales Teams

  • Understanding of Government (Federal and State & Local) sales cycle

  • Strong operational and process orientation with a proven track record

  • Innovative mindset that demonstrates a high level of imagination and creativity to solve complex organization and process issues.

  • Cross-functional expertise and collaboration to architect and drive an integrated go-to-market plan

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strategic thinker and comfortable with ambiguity

  • High degree of accountability and proven record of building a high performing sales engine, driving results and exceeding financial targets.

  • Inside Sales tools proficiency

  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills for direct report leadership

  • Detail oriented, tenacious, responsible, collaborative and self-motivated

Fraudulent Employment Offers

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.

Please be advised that these offers, communications and impersonations are illegitimate and fraudulent. All communication with Zoom employees come from a “@zoom.us” email address. Zoom job applicants complete an interview process including in-person (on Zoom) meetings and phone calls. Our process also requires you to create an account with our applicant tracking system, Workday.
