 About the Team

Zoom is recruiting for a Global Head of Channel. Reporting to the CRO, You will support our global channel leaders with winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with new and existing channel partners. The Channel team represents the entire range of Zoom products and services to partners.


About the Role

This position directs the Alliance Partnership function responsible for the identification, creation, and management of key-account/business relationships with partner companies across a variety of channels to develop to develop solutions and/or products/services to drive revenue opportunities for Zoom.

  • Defines mutual goals and objectives and builds awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance. 

  • Has executive responsibility for the entire channel team across multiple geographic marketplaces.

  • Evangelizes company products in conjunction with recruiting key alliances/partnerships.

  • Provides financial analyses, long-range forecasting and analysis studies associated with potential alliances/partnerships.

  •  Establishes metrics to assess the sales impact of Zoom solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance. 

  • Builds an ecosystem of Channel Partners in the targeted markets.

  • Create and execute detailed and thorough contracted terms that protect Zooms strategic interests

  • Accountable for ensuring integrations and user experience on our content and data is certified by our Product and Developer teams

  • Build strong relationships with senior-level leaders in our partners’ organizations to positively impact Business in the Partner organizations so that we stay top of mind throughout the organization as a valued partner, and our content and data is maximized within the bounds of the agreements in place.

  • Monitors competitor activity in accounts and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and decrease competitor advancement. 

  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. 

  • Develop sales strategies and sales volume forecasts for Zoom’s Channel 

  • Sets vision and direction for the global team

  • Develops strategic plans to ensure successful implementation of action plans and objectives where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company, competitive environment and technology 

  • Participates in development techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. 

  • Approves budgets and schedules to meet Zoom corporate requirements. 

  • Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. 

  • Involves participation in highly visible activities such as speaking to or negotiating with customers, influencing other executives and/or academics, and representing the organization on matters of great significance to the organization. 

  • Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and approving changes to methods and practices.

About You

  •  Our preferred candidate will currently be at VP level (or equivalent)

  • Will possess industry experience in Enterprise Software, IaaS, or SaaS businesses.

  • Experience with large VAR’s, SP’s, agencies and  distributors

  • Advocate for the channel business across the company

  • Proficiency in financial analysis and financial modelling 

  • Senior Leader, with a proven track record on large and complex organizations and considerable leadership experience.

  • People orientated with deep influencing and motivation skills.

  • Will possess long term vision and will be able to translate it to specific actions and plans.

  • Strong experience with organizational change and data analytics

  • Impactful experience as a 'leader of leaders”' and creator of high performing, accomplished teams

  • Resilience, relentless and always be ready in the face of adversity

  • Highly organized, operationally astute and data-oriented

  • Influential written and verbal communication

  • Instrumental in building and upgrading our channel model through participation in projects and initiatives

  • Data-driven to make compelling arguments that drive decisions across the team and business areas

  • Familiar/sensitive to the challenges and needs of growing business, especially those of a scaling global brand disrupting the video first industry

  • Empathetic, emotionally intelligent, motivated and passionate

Fraudulent Employment Offers

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.

Zoom job applicants complete an interview process including in-person (on Zoom) meetings and phone calls.
