Our team is growing and we are looking for an exceptional Engineering Leader ! This engineering leader sets the vision and charter for how the global Engineering teams. This leader will help the engineering team partner with business stakeholders and internal technology teams to architect, design and deliver on Online and eCommerce technology initiatives in an agile delivery model, using leading DevOps and CI/CD frameworks. As part of the foundational work includes breaking up monolithic applications to microservices and microapps making the Online team more nimble and a strategic partner to the Online GTM team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with managing global virtual engineering teams and partnering with the business teams to transform eCommerce, Billing and Payment capabilities. This role requires someone who is able to flex between being strategic, leading and growing a team, and also rolling up their sleeves to enable successful and efficient execution.
About the Role (Job Responsibilities)
Influence and champion more productive and efficient engineering design and delivery, including microservices, micro apps, and frequent engineering releases and other DevOps improvements
Drive continuous improvements in the design, development, code merge and deployment processes to bring efficiencies and productivity improvements across the team
Hire, manage and grow a team of highly motivated and talented front end and back end software developers
Review and signoff on technical designs for scalable solutions in a multi-clustered, highly available environment
Use Agile Software Methodology to create solutions iteratively and produce high-quality technical design documents that use UML diagrams and design patterns
Proficient in Java ,Spring Frameworks - Spring MVC and Spring Boot and experience with JavaScript , HTML, CSS and frameworks like React, Angular or Vue
Expertise with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, DynamoDB, Hbase, Redis or others
Understanding of multithreading & concurrent data structures, parallel algorithms, and thread management
Familiarity to Linux system and the use of application server Nginx and Tomcat and development toolkits like Gitlab, Jira and Jenkins with be a plus
Experience implementing building application platform solutions and integrations to support different software features and functions
Govern multi-repository applications across teams on Gitlab. Ensure secure integrations with third-party services/vendors
About You (Qualifications)
Engineering / CS / MIS Degree (Bachelor's ; graduate degree a plus) and 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
10+ years of SaaS business applications experience including robust in depth hands-on experience in front end and back end Java/Spring, Javascript/VueJs technologies and, NoSQL Databases and different HTTP, SOAP and REST APIs, applications servers and protocols
Experience in eCommerce, Billing, Payments, Subscriptions, Invoicing systems and other enterprise systems like CRM, ERP and Middleware software
Highly positive and collaborative individual that excels at developing working relationships, building consensus, and fostering trust and collaboration at all levels.
Entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven. Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Experience in presenting technology concepts to senior business executives, ability to communicate with passion, and ability to articulate with business context.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that enable strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees.
