The Distributed Work PX Team accelerates the building of naturally Innovative and Agile teams that can thrive in our exponential times. Enabling Zoom’s workforce of today and tomorrow to adapt and thrive. You will lead a company-wide effort to create a new and better future of work through applied research, creating programs to ensure teams are aligned to strategy, increasingly collaborative, and focused on measurable outcomes. This role is strategic, impactful, and cross-functional.
The Zoom future of work program will be a living and always evolving strategy to identify, address and mitigate future events that lead to changes in how, when and where work is done; who or what does the work; and even what is considered work. The team will consider all shifts that could affect Zoom such as organizational changes, emerging technology, market shifts and demographic changes.
What you will do:
Responsible for creating and implementing a Future of Work corporate strategy
The strategy will include but is not limited to the following:
Enterprise geolocation strategy
Organizational assessment & possible re-design to deliver a business strategy roadmap
Remote and hybrid work strategy
Insights-driven HR capability building
Establishing a “Zoom way” for optimizing meetings
Deepening Human connection between employees
Driving cross-functional initiatives and coordinating multi-stakeholder integration for optimal value creation.
Assess the organization’s current state and desired state for how, when and where work is done; who or what does the work; and what is considered work
Forecasting and managing potential risks to the organization’s ability to adapt quickly to evolving work environments
Determine a prioritized list of future of work trends
Assessing FoW trends (e.g., new employment models, hybrid workforce, skills of the future, automation and socioeconomic transformation) and their implications on the organization
Creating an FoW playbook or guidelines to help different business leaders take action on their FoW priorities and initiatives
Generating recommendations through insights-driven strategy and organizational enablement, powered by continuous measurement and experimentation to fail-fast on pushing the boundaries
Collaborating with business leaders across the organization to share labor market data insights and craft customized solutions to meet workforce needs.
Leverage future casting, competitive intelligence, internal data & feedback to develop a strategic vision of the people landscape for the future of work at Zoom
Develop, design and conduct Enterprise-wide programs, pilots and initiatives focused on culture, skill and people development to catalyze the organization to step into the future of work boldly.
Translating the program into customer-facing use cases and innovation in the market for Zoom products
Coordinate researchers and product leaders across the company to develop solutions to big challenges such as hybrid work, advancing exciting new areas such as AI and ML, and identifying product opportunities that address the needs of a broader and evolving population of workers
Establishing the organization’s thought leadership in the FoW space by publishing and sharing best practices and insights, both internally and externally
Continue to develop a framework for hybrid work, encapsulating Zoom’s work styles and packaging them for Zoom customers.

Fraudulent Employment Offers
Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.
Please be advised that these offers, communications and impersonations are illegitimate and fraudulent. All communication with Zoom employees come from a “@zoom.us” email address. Zoom job applicants complete an interview process including in-person (on Zoom) meetings and phone calls. Our process also requires you to create an account with our applicant tracking system, Workday.
