Zoom is hiring a CMDB Manager who will manage/support a controlled environment around IT Configuration Items (CIs), establishing a reliable source of asset data, and providing the linkage between IT Service and Configuration Management. This controlled environment effectively captures and manages IT CI information, supports an effective CMDB and provides value-added services that improve organizational capabilities, manages risks, lower costs, and increases productivity
CMDB Manager responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day activities of the process, including establishing priorities and work assignments
Tracking compliance to policies and procedures and resolving or escalating any compliance issues
Facilitating CM audits
Reviewing critical incident outage resolution results and responses and dispositions of failed changes due to issues related to the configuration management system (CMS)
Facilitating communication and engaging business and IT management to encourage CM efforts and value propositions
Engaging with strategic projects to ensure configuration management can deliver the required CMS functionality within project timeframes
Reviewing and approving all changes to the CMS infrastructure where applicable
Reviewing and approving significant IT infrastructure changes to ensure impacts to configuration management data are properly addressed
Mentoring the organization of CM services, concepts, policies, and procedures
Chairing the configuration control board (CCB) and enacting changes as directed
Providing and approving all requirements, use cases, user stories, etc. to support new or improving CMS functionality
Reviewing and approving all requests for the administrator log on credentials and access rights to the CMS infrastructure
Reviewing and publishing configuration management reporting
BS or equivalent and experience in Configuration Management.
Strong knowledge of information technology change and configuration management best practices and methodologies.
Efficient in use and support of ServiceNow CMDB (Data Models, BSM Mapping, Data Transforms).
Solid knowledge of ITSM processes, especially ITIL Service Transition.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (functions, formulas, pivot tables).
ITIL V3 Foundation required.
ServiceNow hands on experience, especially in the auto-discovery, configuration management, CI/CMDB areas. Experience with Service Mapping is a plus.

Fraudulent Employment Offers
Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.
Please be advised that these offers, communications and impersonations are illegitimate and fraudulent. All communication with Zoom employees come from a “@zoom.us” email address. Zoom job applicants complete an interview process including in-person (on Zoom) meetings and phone calls. Our process also requires you to create an account with our applicant tracking system, Workday.
