Responsibilities:

  • Provides analysis and interpretation of the customers’ and/or merchants’ financial status for proper evaluation of risk and the establishment of proper credit limits. Interacts with sales support, customer service, and accounts receivable in reconciling accounts.
  • Prepares recommendations and makes credit approval decisions on new accounts.
  • Analyses and reports on credit memo and write-off activity.
  • Monitors and communicates credit concerns to management.
  • This job is not for those responsible for placing routine calls to customers for collection of past due accounts. This role is focused on policy decisions/judgment regarding credit offers.
  • Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
     

Requirements:

  • MUST speak both English and Japanese on business fluency level
  • MUST be authorized to work for any employer in Japan
  • Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or finance experience
  • Experience in Customer Service is preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills (i.e. excel) – Experience in Zuora and Zendesk is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to handle large volume of details – detailed oriented and multi-tasking Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and team setting with other individuals

Fraudulent Employment Offers

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.

Please be advised that these offers, communications and impersonations are illegitimate and fraudulent. All communication with Zoom employees come from a “@zoom.us” email address. Zoom job applicants complete an interview process including in-person (on Zoom) meetings and phone calls. Our process also requires you to create an account with our applicant tracking system, Workday.
