About the Team

We are looking for an Account Executive, Strategic Accounts to join our team in Japan. You will report to the Manager of Strategic Accounts Sales in our fast-growing Tokyo office, you will work with clients to provide them the right Zoom services that meet their video, phone, room systems, digital events and online meeting needs. Working in a defined industry-based territory (1000~10,000 employee account users) you will proactively engage with targeted companies, winning their trust while contributing to Workplace Transformation.

About the Role

  • Your mission is to achieve sales objectives at the major accounts level
  • You will qualify leads and perform needs assessment, engaging technical resources
  • You will create client presentations, proposals and coordinate quarterly business reviews
  • You willConduct high-level conversations with C-level and VP-level Executives
  • You will Use solution-selling and value-selling techniques to guide sales process to close
  • You will develop and maintain business within existing accounts, manage complex sales situations and sales campaigns
  • You will upsell and leverage business from new and established customer relationships
  • You will utilize CRM solution to provide accurate sales activity tracking and status updates
  • You will work with management to provide forecasts, identify trending opportunities / challenges, and provide recommended solutions
  • You will keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may affect client business activities
  • You will leverage key customer relationships for video testimonials and case studies

About You

  • 8+ years of Enterprise Sales / Account Executive experience in a Technology company
  • Experienced selling either Video Collaboration or Cloud Software solutions is required
  • High-Touch Sales Experience, and closely working with our Channel and Strategic Partners
  • Business forecasting, pipeline development and account management skills
  • Proven history of ensuring client satisfaction, achieving a consistent track record, and collaborating with team members
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations with the ability to build relevant, strategic messaging
  • Have native Japanese proficiency and advanced conversational level in English

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.
